Residence, curate and lecturer: {Yes &} In the vicarage House at East-Budleigh Here No House, it is annexed to East-Budleigh under one Presentation. I serve it myself alternately with East-Budleigh. The whole but a scanty Provision for a Clergyman.
Chapels: There is a Chapel in the Parish in which Divine Service is performed instead of the Church it being more conveniantly situated. Supported by the Parish Rates as the Church.
Papists, dissenters and meeting houses: {One reputed Papist. A Meeting-House situated <at Exmo> in this Parish for three or four Parishes at one End of it. Name of it's Teacher Samuel Leate living in Otterton.}

No Papist that I know of. A Meeting=House a small one just set up by Lady Glenorchy in Wythicombe Part of Exmouth. I do not know the Teacher, nor of what Denomination; different Sorts of People go thither. Teacher's Name I have forgot.
School, alms-houses, hospital and charitable endowments: Two or three Dwellings for the Poor. Drake's Charity consists of the great Tythes of this Parish & Half of a little Manour in it vested in Trustees. Out of this to the Poor 40 Shillings, 50 Shillings to bind out Apprentices, 20 Shillings [continued under 13]
Charity: [continued from 12] to repair the Almshouse & 7 Pounds to a preaching Min: or Lecturer: but as They will not make up the Deficiency, paid to the vicar.
Priest's orders and institution: Inst: & inducted with East-Budleigh as annexed to it
